After processing recent observations this past weekend, scientists with NASA's Near Earth Object Program office can now rule out any impact possibility from asteroid 2002 NT7 on February 1, 2019. The program's head, Dr. Don Yeomans, predicts that future positional observations will also enable them to rule out an impact from the asteroid in 2060.
